Web Application Developer

The Web Application Developer position is responsible for maintaining, enhancing, and growing our web sites developed by Konica Minolta's Solutions Engineering Center (SEC).
Candidate will work on everything from front-end HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to the server side code and databases.
We are looking for people who want to work with the latest technologies on customer facing web sites.
As a member of a small team, the successful candidate will be able to play an important role in the evolution of Konica Minolta's bizhub MarketPlace.
Responsibilities:
Develop standalone & server based software applications.
Generate application prototypes to test viability of requested projects.
Utilize public and private API's to extend existing products Consume 3rd party API's or services (REST, SOAP, XML-RPC, etc) Utilize distributed version control in a team environment (GIT, Bazaar, Mercurial, or Darcs) Perform other Software Development / Engineering work as needed.
What we expect to see:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related degree concentration & 3
years of proven experience developing desktop and web based applications.
Proficient in modern HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and SQL.
Fluent with various web browsers (Safari, Internet Explorer, FireFox, Chrome).
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Self-motivating and self-learning.
What we like to see:
Personal or Professional experience in Node.
js, Python, React, SASS, PostCSS.
Proficient on Linux/Unix operating systems from a terminal.
Experience with GIT, Docker, and Virtual Machines.
Experience developing for multiple browsers and devices.
