## Job Description
Client Benefits Specialist is primarily responsible for processing state and federal benefit paperwork for individuals with disabilities, as well as working with our program managers to ensure proper management of individual client funds. Specific knowledge and skill needed are:
Ability to process large volumes of paperwork at peak times each month;
Strong interpersonal skills for communicating both internally with managers and externally with representatives of the Social Security Administration and State of Connecticut processing units;
Ability to create and update Excel spreadsheets for tracking purposes;
Propensity for problem-solving and for creating processes to enhance workflow and accuracy;
Strong math skills to facilitate problem analysis;
Work habits that include perseverance, patience and effective techniques for tracking unresolved issues till completed.
Pay Rate - Starting at $18 per hour DOE
