My client is a regional distributor of machine tools, tooling and accessories, and related engineering and support services, is seeking an ambitious and conscientious Field Service Manager to report to the Windsor, CT location. This role will provide exciting opportunities to grow with a dynamic company in a fast-paced industry.
The Field Service Manager is responsible for assuring quality of ongoing service in a timely manner by assigning projects to field service technicians based upon a solid understanding of each individual's knowledge, capabilities, and personality.
Managing and scheduling of field service technicians to perform work throughout regional territory to meet the needs of the customer. Ensuring all service technicians are fully trained in regards to management, customer service, safety, and all other related training. Establishing and maintaining solid relationships with machine tool builders, third party vendors, and all customers in the market area to ensure high levels of client satisfaction. Designing and implementing customer support programs to ensure commitments are executed as planned, and issues are resolved in a timely manner, to ensure complete customer satisfaction. Developing annual business strategies to attain company defined goals. Possessing and maintaining an in-depth knowledge of machine tool industry and product lines represented by the company.
The successful candidate will have 7-10 years' experience in a supervisory field service management position or related field, with machine tool background a plus, but not required. This position requires flexible hours and some travel throughout a regional territory, including overnight travel (10%-15% travel).

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
