What are the job responsibilities? The Senior Recruiter is responsible for strategy development and execution of senior level and niche search assignments to identify, attract and engage A players in response to current and forecasted openings, including succession planning and market scans. This role is responsible for developing and implementing strategic recruitment plans and programs to achieve qualitative staffing results and diversity hiring objectives. This role maintains a highly visible profile in the market with prospective candidates and industry thought leaders. This role serves as a talent brokerage resource and knowledge-expert internally on search process and talent assessment.
1. Responsible for actively leading the development, recommendation, and implementation of recruiting engagements enterprise-wide.
2. Maintains an ongoing pipeline of qualified candidates to align with strategy by developing a proactive recruitment strategy and market approach.
3. Develops creative and cutting-edge forums for Company to be exposed to industry talent.
4. Serves as a subject matter expert on talent acquisition best practices to business leaders and other constituents involved in the talent process.
5. Provides superior level of customer service both internally and externally across multiple geographies.
6. Manages full life-cycle recruitment including setting recruiting strategy, actively sourcing candidates, pre-screening, interviewing and presenting qualified candidates to hiring managers, negotiating offers and facilitating the hiring and on-boarding processes.
7. Provides a consultative approach in developing and recommending recruiting strategies to ensure each search is successfully completed.
8. Communicates consistently and openly with hiring managers, human resource representatives and candidates throughout the recruitment process to ensure all constituents are updated.
9. Uses proactive methods to direct source candidates, network with field experts and associations, and stay abreast of industry and functional trends to build an external network.
10. Partners with workforce planning and talent management teams to broker and develop internal talent pool.
11. Reviews all applicable documents and ensures that hiring processes are followed and that compliance requirements are met.
12. Counsels hiring managers on staffing and recruitment policies and procedures to ensure compliance and understanding of EEO, hiring and compensation guidelines.
Works with approved vendors such as external recruiters, assessment providers and retained search firms to identify and recruit candidates if and when needed.
Performs related duties as assigned.
Who is our ideal candidate? 7+ years in agency or corporate recruiting
Prferred expertise in actuarial, financial service roles
Bachelor's Degree preferred, or relevant work exprience
Excellent communication, verbal & written
Reserach skills, along woth staying abreast of todays social media recruiting avenues.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
