What are the job responsibilities? The Head of Consumer & Customer Web Development is responsible for the vision, direction, leadership and administration of Voya Financials Customer Web Development teams. This individual will lead development of Customer and Consumer web properties and functions including:
o
o Participant Web
o Annuity Customer Portal
o Multiple marketing web sites
o Life Web (date TBD)
o EB Customer Web (date TBD)
And will provide functional leadership for:
o UX Design function
o Front End Development
o Content Management
o Content Management Platforms
The incumbent will provide leadership; build effective relationships with external business stakeholders while ensuring that Voya' s web properties are developed and maintained in a way provides the highest quality customer experience.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
o Responsible for high traffic user account, self-service and ecommerce web sites and architecture that will scale, meet performance requirements and security standards.
o Responsible for developing goals and key objectives for the group on an annual basis that support the Company''s business objectives.
o Conduct resource planning and management to ensure the groups have adequate resources to meet goals and objectives.
o Work with Business Partners to strategically plan the execution of projects to deliver on time, within budget, and exceeding quality standards.
o Foster internal knowledge sharing among team members (meetings with vendors, benchmarking and case studies of successful companies, etc.).
o Recommend and implement new technologies, processes, and systems to increase efficiencies, productivity, customer engagement, sales, or conversion

o Proven ability to understand technical issues, and recommend innovative solutions. Ability to understand customer requirements and direct project planning.
o Relevant experience in high volume, high performance e-commerce websites and strategy experience.
o Extensive experience in marketing design, e-commerce, content management, and personalization/targeting. Knowledge of development and development best practices.
o Strong leader with the ability to engage multiple teams to present and formulate a unified project vision.
o Proven ability to manage project portfolio, prioritize projects, and set customer expectations when prioritization issues arise.
o Exceptional verbal communication, written communication, and presentation skills.
